Designed the integration of TipRanks research tools into IG’s trading platform, bringing analyst insights, stock forecasts, and market data closer to traders during their decision-making journey.

Traders often need multiple sources of information before making investment decisions, but market research was fragmented across different platforms.
IG partnered with TipRanks to bring additional market analysis capabilities directly into the trading experience.
Goal – create a seamless in-platform research experience that allowed traders to access expert insights without leaving the platform.

Working closely with Product, Engineering, and business stakeholders, I defined how TipRanks insights should be integrated into the trading experience and how users would discover and interact with the new content.
My focus was on:
- Creating a natural entry point for market insights within existing trading journeys.
- Structuring complex financial information into clear and easy-to-understand experiences.
- Maintaining consistency with IG’s design system across web, iOS, and Android.
- Designing interactions for key TipRanks features – Smart Score, Analyst Consensus, Analysts’ Top Stocks
Testing & measurement
Before launch, I validated the experience through usability testing, focusing on:
- Ease of understanding.
- Discoverability of insights.
- How users interacted with research content.
Together with Product, we defined success metrics and implemented tracking to measure engagement after release.
