Problem statement<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

We had number of requests from user feedback to add option to select timeframe for chart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Challenge<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Due to technical limitations on rendering interval candle it was difficult to add from and to dates all together.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Process and results<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Conducted internal testing with in-house analysts<\/strong> who use charts for trading analysis to find out why users would want to navigate to particular date and how it is fits to trading journey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For most going to particular date or to display range between specified date and recent date was enough to satisfy their needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Delivered MVP<\/strong> solution \u2018from the date\u2019, added more options as 1 Day – 1Year and kept for next phases \u2018to the date\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This feature satisfied user needs<\/strong> and we had tracked more Time range usage than interaction with Timeframe at the bottom of the chart.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
